>> Once a long strip of colorful lights, rides, and fun for the whole family that bordered the northernmost part of Gotham City, the Joker's goons reclaimed this portion of Amusement Mile and now the park is filled with eerie music and flickering lights. BEWARE! The air here is tainted with Joker Toxin and precautions should be taken.
>>The general area of the northern part of Gotham City. This part of Gotham used well kept, however, at the moment, the streets are filled with Joker Toxin and countless armed Joker thugs that patrol the area.
>>Uptown has been exposed to aerosolized Fear Toxin. The streets seem to be constantly filled with screams, yells, and fighting. Gotham City Police Department has quarantined this area and it's currently off limits to the public.
>>The once more upper-class section of Gotham's northern area, this area is currently overrun with Hatter's henchmen and has been 'reorganized' to be Jervis' very own Wonderland.
>>An old building that has been bought over by various private owners and funded to be rebuilt into luxury apartment homes. The building has a classy, uptown feel to it, and is gated in behind tall gates. Security is posted twenty-four seven, and seems to be provided by Wayne Enterprises. Located in the Old Industrial District, this building seems to be one of the more attractive buildings in Gotham City.
>>Once the more factory oriented side of Gotham City, much of the old, run down properties have been bought, demolished, and rebuilt into things to help benefit the surrounding community. Home to the Old Steel Mill, this area has become more popular with many Gothamites.
>>The main residential area of the Old Industrial District, made up of a number of upper-class neighborhoods, as well as a park and a swimming beach.
>>Rumored to be the heaviest Police traffic area of town, the City Hall District is named due to being the location of Gotham City Hall. This is possibly one of the busiest parts of Gotham City, as it also is home to Gotham University.
>>Tall, dark and gothic themed buildings stretch high toward the sky, many with gargoyles and other strange statues that linger and snarl down over the city. This district is known to house popular locations such as Wayne Towers, Gotham Academy and Gotham General Hospital.
>>Compact buildings consisting of shops, restaurants, and other various forms of entertainment can be found here, as well as the main Gotham City National Bank. Generally, there are floods of people as well as music and chatter drifting across the scene.
>>Not so much an island as it is a plot of land surrounded by water, connected to western Gotham City by a man-made bridge, this man made plot of land is home to Arkham Asylum and the Gotham City Sewage Plant.
>>Located in the heart of Gotham City, the central area is known for its rather green appearance and more relaxed atmosphere. It is most know for the location of the Gotham City Park and Gotham City Zoo.
>>Out and about around Central Gotham the city streets here are lines with greenery and quaint little shops and boutiques. Crime doesn't seem to be too much of an issue, but it is still Gotham City and they still have their nights.
>>The main residential community in Central Gotham, this set of apartment homes stretches through a few buildings, and has hundreds of units. Its staff are professional and the place is well kept, despite the building's old age.
>>Perhaps the worst residential area in Gotham City, many of the refugees from other dimensions have been taking advantage of the free living established by city officials here, as many have yet to find a job after their abrupt coming here. Unfortunately, the unfamiliar area to newcomers is anything but safe, as there seems to be crime on every corner.
>>The original Park Row, a city famously under the thumb of the Crime Lord known as 'Two-Face'. Although, as of recently, he has been lying low, the area still seems to carry on as business as usual. Those whom tread through here should be weary, lest they want to lose their purse. Or Wallet. Or life. Or all of the above.
>>Named after the prime location of the Solomon Wayne Courthouse, this district is in the heart of west Gotham and is known to be a high traffic area for Two-Face and crew,- but good luck catching them.
>>One of the wealthier entertainment districts, the Diamond District is known to be a prime hotspot for The Penguin. Most of the businesses provide a cut of their profits to The Penguin. This area is known for its classy nightclubs and restaurants.
>>Like the Diamond District, the Fashion District is overseen by The Penguin, and much of its shops are in his pocket. Due to this, this area of town is very upscale, classy and well cared for. This area is primarily for shopping; it consists of various cafes, shopping malls, boutiques, and small businesses.
>>The southernmost area of Gotham City, primarily made up of luxury apartment homes, fancy living, and the occasional shop. This area of town is well kept, cared for, and the only crime activity seems to be the constant presence of Penguin's goon
>>The southern bay of Gotham City, home to the Gotham City Docks and the infamous Statue of Justice. Before Gotham's being cut off, the bay was full of ships and constant water traffic, but recently, all of the ships have been docked, or pulled from the water and broken down.
>>The Chinese district of Gotham City, named for the eccentric golds and reds that decorate the streets, and the paper lanterns often strung over the road. Every so often, the roads here will close and festivals relative to the Chinese holidays are hosted in the streets. This area is known to be run in connection with the Triads, of Chinese Mafia.
>>Imagine a city as large as Gotham City, and how many manhole covers, sewer lines, and god knows what else runs beneath the city. A maze of tunnels and an overload of foul smells run under the city.
>>Subways and Trains have been unable to move at all since Gotham's initial cut off, and many of the tunnels are abandoned these days, or have become residences for refuges. Either way, strange voices and noises can be heard echoing through these tunnels.
>>A series of tunnels beneath Gotham which Bane has secretly been using as a hide-out for just about three years. Most of the twists and turns are guarded and complete with booby traps and security cameras. It is almost impossible not to get lost within this labyrinth of tunnels which ultimately leads to Bane's hide-out. Bane's 'army' of followers has the place quite well watched.
>>A large plot of land belonging to the Wayne name. It is gated off from the rest of Crest Hill, by a grim set of rod iron fencing, and if it weren't for the number of nice cars, Wayne children or parties that happen to go in and out of the gates, it seems almost deserted.
>>The outer limits of Gotham City are surrounded by rolling hills, forest, and countryside. A few farms dot the area, as well as the circus grounds and the occasional factory.
>>Often home to the infamous Haly's Circus, the circus grounds are currently dotted with a number of train cars- as the train runs through the grounds- and tents. It seems that when Gotham City was cut off from the rest of the world, Haly's Circus was also caught inside.
